Attention, any child interested in law enforcement! Applications are now being accepted for the annual Hamilton County Junior Law Enforcement Academy, a one-day program that highlights law enforcement activities. This year the theme is “Building Blocks” with an emphasis on making healthy choices in all aspects of life. Campers will interact with officers and spiritual leaders from the Sheriff’s Office Chaplain’s Division as they learn the importance of making responsible choices. Activities for the day include a ride in a police car, a demonstration by the Emergency Response Team, camp games, learning about healthy choices, and much more.

The Junior Law Enforcement Academy runs 8:00am to 5:30pm on Friday, June 17, at the Hamilton County 4H Fairgrounds. There is no cost to attend the camp which also includes lunch and snacks. Camp size is limited with a registration cutoff date of June 1 or when then camp fills.

For more information and an application contact Phyllis in the Chaplain’s Office at [email protected] or call (317)776-4109.
