Large number of reported gun shots turns out to be a "fireworks class" at the Sonoma Marin Fairgrounds 
On 4/29/16 at approximately 3:50PM, Petaluma Police began receiving a 911 calls reporting possible gun shots in the area of the Fairgrounds. Petaluma PD began dispatching units to the area and it was quickly determined that there was a "Fireworks Class" for local Fire Departments occurring that we were not aware of.
There is no need to continue to to call 911 and report the fireworks noise.
