Jackson Police Officers have won the USPCA Fourth Quarter National Award for Best Fourth Quarter Case of 2015.

Award

Officer Jeremy Stines and Sergeant Brandon Moss, along with their K9 partners Pax and Keyra, have won the United States Police Canine Association (USPCA) Fourth Quarter National Award for Best Fourth Quarter Case of 2015.

Stines and his partner, Pax, were instrumental in the apprehension of the suspect involved in a Robbery and Murder in 2015. Moss and his partner, Keyra, were instrumental in locating evidence associated with the same case.

“The K9’s that serve the citizens of this community are trained for incidents such as this,” Moss said. “We look forward to continued service to the Jackson Police Department and the citizens of this community."

Jackson’s K9 teams won the fourth quarter national award, which makes them eligible for the 2015 National Case of the Year. A USPCA panel will decide which 2015 quarterly case should win the USPCA National Case of the Year Award.
