Altadena Detective Taylor is pictured speaking with at-risk youth as part of the Vital Intervention and Directional Alternatives or VIDA program. Youth is guided by deputies and volunteers in a structured 16-week program for non-violent, at-risk youth between the ages of 11 and 17½.
