On Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at approximately 5:28 PM, PSPD responded to the intersection of Crossley Road and Dinah Shore Drive, in reference to an injury traffic collision. The collision involved a passenger car and a motorcycle with serious injuries. The preliminary investigation revealed that a green 2009 Kawasaki motorcycle traveling eastbound on Dinah Shore collided with a white 2012 Buick Sedan turning southbound onto Crossley Road/Golf Club Drive from westbound Dinah Shore. The motorcyclist sustained critical injuries from the collision and was transported to a local hospital. The driver of the Buick sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The lone passenger, seated in the front right seat of the Buick, died at the scene. The cause of the collision remains under investigation. The intersection will be closed in all directions for the next several hours. Motorists should use Ramon Road or Highway 111 as alternate routes while traveling east or west. Motorists should use Gene Autry Trail as an alternate route while traveling north or south.
