Simi Valley Police Arrest Apple Store Robbery Suspects 
On April 22, 2016, Simi Valley Police Officers responded to the Simi Valley Town Center’s Apple Store to investigate a theft. Officers were advised that two subjects entered the Apple Store, stole cellular telephones, then became involved in a physical altercation with store security officers, who were attempting to prevent the crime. The suspects then fled the business, entered a waiting getaway car and left the area. A short time later the suspects were located behind a building in the 600 block of Los Angeles Avenue, in Simi Valley. The two suspects who actually entered the store and the getaway car driver were arrested.
The suspects, who reside in Bakersfield California, are identified as:
19 year old Tavonte Jones
19 year old Isiah Mims
19 year old Jovan Johnson
The suspects were booked into the Ventura County Jail for burglary, strong arm robbery and conspiracy. The stolen property was recovered.
