Do you have stacks of sensitive documents, or old electronic devices cluttering up your garage?  Are you concerned about identity thieves getting your personal information?  The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station and the City of Santa Clarita will be hosting their next “Safe And Secure Collection Event” on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  The event will be held at the Westfield Valencia Town Center Mall parking lot on the corner of Citrus Street and Magic Mountain Parkway.

This event is open to the public, and will allow you to dispose of your sensitive documents or electronic devices in a safe and secure manner.  Documents are limited to five (5) boxes (11” x 12” x 15”) per vehicle and must be removed from binders and document protectors prior to drop-off.  Additionally, you can bring any kind of electronic device (computer hard drives, monitors, or anything else that plugs into a standard home outlet) for recycling.  (Sorry, no large appliances, engines, batteries, light bulbs, or house hold hazardous waste will be accepted.)

This is a FREE service provided to the residents of the Santa Clarita Valley.
