REMINDER: Prescription Drug Take-Back April 30th at the Sanbornton Police Department

*** PRESCRIPTION DRUG TAKE-BACK ***

Once again, the Sanbornton Police Department is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) in an effort to collect and properly dispose of unused/expired prescription medications.

On Saturday April 30th, 2016 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm, any medications can be brought to the Sanbornton Police Department (565 Sanborn Road) for proper disposal, no questions asked.

It has been proven that improperly discarded medications have devastating effects on the environment, especially groundwater. Also, these medications can often get into the hands of children or others who will abuse them. The Drug Take-Back initiative has collected tons of medications since its inception in 2010, and the Sanbornton Police Department has been proud to be a part of it.
