Suspect(s):
1) White male adult approximately 25-30 years old, 5’10” tall, weighed approximately 220 pounds with a dark colored mustache and beard. Last seen wearing a blue baseball type hat, a blue and white plaid button up shirt with a black shirt underneath, khaki colored pants and light grey shoes.

Incident Summary
On April 22, 2016 at approximately 6:36 pm, Petaluma Police Department Officers were dispatched to the Friedman’s Home Improvement Center located at 429 N. McDowell Blvd., for a reported theft of merchandise. Officers arrived on scene and initiated an investigation. During the investigation, an employee of the store reported the above described suspect entered the store, loaded a gas powered generator into a shopping cart, and exited the store without paying for the item. When the suspect exited the store, he did so through a fire exit door which triggered an audible alarm. Employees investigated the alarm and did not notice anything suspicious. A review of the store video surveillance camera, captured an image of the suspect and the theft. The attached image of the suspect was taken from the video surveillance footage.
