Theft of Property Arrests 
(Etowah County, Alabama) Two individuals have been arrested in connection to stolen farm equipment, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Nathan Lee Gaskin, 36, of Sardis, and Barbara Jean Gowens, 22, of Collinsville, are each charged with one count of first degree theft of property, which is a felony,” investigator Brian Smith said.
The duo allegedly stole a monitor and harness device from a John Deere tractor valued at $8,000. The incident occurred on April 21, in the Duck Springs community. The monitor has been recovered and returned to the rightful owner.
Gaskin and Gowens were booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and later released on $5,000 bond each.
