National Prescription Drug Take Back Day 
The Etowah County Sheriff's Office and Drug Enforcement Unit are participating in the National Take Back Initiative this Saturday.
Citizens are encouraged to bring their unused or outdated prescription medications, controlled or over the counter medications for FREE, proper disosal.
The event will take place on Saturday, April 30, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the parking lot at the East Gadsden Wal-Mart.
No questions will be asked and citizen's ID will be kept confidential!
Help the ECSO prevent prescription drug abuse by removing potentially dangerous medications from Etowah County households.
