National Drug Take Back

- Now to APRIL 30, 2016 - All Day -

COLLECTION SITE: Boxborough Police Station
520 Massachusetts Avenue
Boxborough, MA 01719

The Boxborough Police Department will be participating in the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day that will take place on Saturday, April 30, 2016, all day long.

This is a great opportunity for those who missed the previous events, or who have subsequently accumulated unwanted, unused prescription drugs, to safely dispose of those medications.

Over the last five years the Boxborough Police has collected hundreds of pounds of unwanted or unused medications for safe and proper disposal.

“These medications find their way into our water supplies, landfills and often times, those who are battling addiction. A safe and anonymous collection container has been placed in the Police Station lobby to help combat this nationwide problem.” said Boxborough Police Chief Warren Ryder. “You do not have to be a Boxborough resident to participate. This program is open to the all general public, no questions asked at the Boxborough Police Station Lobby 24/7 now to April 30, 2016.”
