Auto Theft NOT Successful - Key Fob Removed From the Vehicle.

Last night at approximately 3:30 AM a resident heard a car outside of his home. When he looked out the window he observed two black males trying to steal his vehicle. These actors were not able to steal the vehicle because the key fob was removed. They fled on foot when they were interrupted by the resident.

These criminals and their assistants will continue to come to our communities if they are successful at stealing cars. Patrol Officers have made contact with and arrested some of these actors during their shifts. We strongly advise residents not to confront these individuals.
