Deputies arrest male in Stolen Vehicle; he was found to be on PRCS for Meth Sales

INCIDENT: PC 496D(A) Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
LOCATION: Sterling Avenue and Baseline Street, Highland
SUSPECT: Christopher Stocklaufer, 30, Upland resident
SUMMARY:
On April 23, 2016 at 6:49 p.m. Deputy Gapik, from the Sheriff's Central Station, responded to the area of Sterling Avenue and Baseline Street for an area check for a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was described as a 2012 Nissan Altima, stolen out of the city of Fontana. Gapik observed the Nissan Altima pull into the Arco Gas Station located at Sterling Avenue and Baseline Street. Gapik and assisting deputies conducted a felony traffic stop and detained the two occupants and the driver was identified as Christopher Stocklaufer, from the city of Upland. Stocklaufer is currently on PRCS Community Supervision for Methamphetamine Sales. Stocklaufer was arrested and booked into Central Detention Center for PC 496D(A) Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.
