Two arrested for Weapons and Probation violations

LOCATION: Raven Way/ Oriole Avenue, Grand Terrace
SUSPECT(S): Eric Perez, 28 year old, resident of Highland
Asandria Jacobo, 28 year old, resident of Colton
SUSPECT VEHICLE: 2000 Ford Mustang
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 7:25 p.m., Deputy R. Cook made a traffic stop at the location. The driver was identified as Asandria Jacobo and her passenger was Eric Perez. Jacobo was driving under a suspended license and Perez was identified as being on PRCS probation with search terms. The vehicle was found to have stolen registration tags and was subsequently searched. A 6 inch dagger was located under the driver’s side seat and baggies containing hypodermic needles were located. Neither occupant had a legal reason to possess the needles.
Jacobo was arrested for a weapons violation, driving under a suspended license and possessing stolen tags. Perez was arrested for violating the terms of his PRCS probation. Both were booked into Central Detention Center.
