Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives responded to 110^th Street East and Avenue H, Lancaster, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of an unknown person. The body was discovered on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at approximately 2:54 p.m.

When homicide detectives arrived, they learned that Lancaster deputies saw a vehicle at the location. When they looked inside the vehicle, they found a person dead. It is unknown how long the vehicle was at the location or when the person died.  

The cause of death and identification will be determined by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner.
