Road Testing on Loma Vista Drive April 17 and 20
Street to be closed for brief periods during testing
Beverly Hills, CA – Loma Vista Drive will undergo brief road closures on the mornings of April 17 and April 20 for court-ordered road testing. The testing was mandated as part of the litigation over the recent truck accidents on Loma Vista Drive.
On April 17, the testing consists of a vehicle, similar to a Google Earth car, going up and down the street doing a 3D scan of the terrain. This scanning will begin at the top of Loma Vista Drive at 6:30 a.m. and will finish by 10:30 a.m. The testing on April 20 will involve a concrete truck driving up and down Loma Vista Drive, from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
During the testing, the Beverly Hills Police Department will have staff on site, controlling the traffic and access. Unfortunately, the street must close temporarily while the test vehicles are moving. But officers will keep these closures to a minimum and allow residents to exit and return to their homes as quickly as possible
The City sincerely apologizes to residents for the inconvenience.
