SUMMARY:
Between the days of March 24 and March 28, 2016, there were approximately eleven vehicle burglaries, and two mail theft’s at different residences in the City of Loma Linda. The crimes occured within the same neighborhood. On March 28, 2016, Cindy Denise Miranda and Mariah Palacios were caught while in the act of committing the mail theft. The two females were arrested at that time. The females were charged with the mail theft as well as credit card fraud and drug charges. Miranda is on parole and remains in custody at the Central Detention Center being held on several felony charges and a parole hold. Palacios was subsequently released on her own recognizance.

Deputies conducted further investigation and positively identified Miranda as a person involved in the above mentioned burglaries. The suspect vehicle being used was a white Honda Accord missing the rear bumper. Deputies were able to determine that the registered owner of that vehicle, Beatriz Duran was also directly involved in the burglaries and in her vehicle during the crime spree. On March 29, 2016, Beatriz Duran was arrested for conspiring in the above crimes, but was subsequently released on her own recognizance.

On March 29, 2016, deputies served a search warrant at a residence in Loma Linda and gathered more evidence related to the case. Deputies also gathered other evidence and were able to identify Darcy Joseph Ramirez, AKA “Tweaker Tweedy” as another person in the suspect vehicle during the commission of the burglaries. Ramirez remains at large and deputies are actively trying to contact him for further their investigation.

Deputies have learned that the above suspects belong to and are associated to the “El Monte Flores” and “Puente” street gangs. Deputies believe that the above listed suspects conspired to commit these crimes in an effort to sell victims identities and commit credit card fraud.
