Sonoma County Sheriff Coroner’s Office is releasing the name of the person who died in a vehicle collision in Windsor on in the early hours of Sunday morning, April 17, 2016.
The deceased is identified as Abel Lopez-Lopez, a 19 year old man from Windsor. His family was located and informed of his death.
The Sonoma County Coroner’s Office scheduled a forensic pathologist to conduct an examination to determine the cause and manner of death.
The California Highway Patrol is conducting the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the vehicle collision. Any inquiries regarding the crash should be directed to that agency.
