Motorcyclist injured in crash. Jefferson Twp.

Sheriff Joseph M. Underwood Jr. reports that on 4/16/2016 at 2150 hours his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash that occurred on dailey road near Jefferson Cnt in Jefferson township cass county Michigan. 50 yr old Elkhart resident, James Combs, was operating south bound on his motorcycle when he lost control going through a set of curves. Mr. Combs was not injured in this crash however his passenger Cynthia Collins, 47 of Edwardsburg, was injured. She was transported to south bend memorial hospital for treatment. At this time it is unknown if Helmets were worn and alcohol may have been a factor in this crash. this crash remains under investigation
assisting were Michigan State Police, Pokagon Band of tribal police, Cassopolis Fire department and Life Care Ambulance service
