**UPDATE: All roadways are open to traffic.** Newark Blvd and Cedar Blvd .

Newark Police Department and Alameda County Fire Dept advises you to AVOID the intersection of Newark Boulevard and Cedar Boulevard due to a current traffic issue.
A gasoline tanker collided with a fire hydrant. Gasoline has spilled into the roadway near the 76 Gas station located at this intersection. Because of strong winds this morning, the HAZMAT Team has requested that all roads leading into this area be closed off.
The following road blocks are currently in place and are expected to remain so for the next 2-3 hours:
Northbound Newark Boulevard is blocked at Brittany Ave/Ruschin Dr.
Westbound Cedar Boulevard traffic is blocked at Chapman Dr.
Southbound Newark Boulevard traffic is blocked at the intersection entrance of Lido and Rosemont shopping centers (McDonallds).
Eastbound Cedar Boulevard is blocked at Lido Blvd.
Northbound Breton Dr is blocked at Cedar Blvd.
