Motorcycle Operator Succumbs to Injuries from Earlier Crash
Vermillion County—Steven R. Huffman, age 62, of Clinton, IN. succumbed to his injuries yesterday at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
On Wednesday, April 13, 2016, Huffman was stopped eastbound on SR 163 attempting a left turn onto northbound CR 150 E, when he was struck in the rear by 23-year-old Levi A. Gossett of Clinton, IN. Gossett was believed to be distracted with cell phone usage around the time of the crash.
Family notified.
The crash was investigated by ISP Trooper Chuck Murphy.
Under the Law, criminal charges are merely accusations and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
