SUMMARY: Deputies from the Victorville Police Station arrested 41 year old Victorville resident, Lauren Anthony Gratiano for felony burglary. Gratiano was booked at the High Desert Detention Center and is set to be arraigned on April 15, 2016 at the Victorville Superior Court.

The burglary occurred on April 9, 2016 at a restaurant in the 14900 block of 7th Street in Victorville. The restaurant was closed for the day when some type of rock was thrown through the glass allowing the suspect to enter. Once inside the suspect was able to take an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving the location. Video surveillance obtained from the business allowed deputies to put together a description of the suspect.

On April 13, 2016 Deputy Carpenter, from the Victorville Police Station, made contact with 41 year old Lauren Anthony Gratiano, of Victorville. Gratiano, who is currently on parole, fit the description of the suspect in the restaurant burglary. The suspect was taken to the Victorville Police station where he was interviewed by Detective Mason and Detective Maddox regarding the burglary. After questioning the suspect and conducting further investigation, he was placed under arrest. It is believed that Gratiano may also be linked to several other burglaries in Victorville and neighboring cities.
