Search Warrant Produces Methamphetamine
The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team announces that on April 13, 2016 detectives served a search warrant on an address in the 100 block of W North St in the Village of Marcellus on suspicion that the use of methamphetamine was taking place there. Upon searching the residence detectives located methamphetamine paraphernalia and detained a 36 year old male and a 30 year old female. After conducting a search on the male and female, each was found to be in possession of methamphetamine. Michigan Department of Human Services was called to assist since there were four young children inside the home. The male and female were arrested on charges of possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house. The suspect’s name is being with held pending arraignment on the charges. The investigation is still on going at this time.
