     A parent had stopped in at the daycare center of Barnyard by the Gate to pick up her child. The victim parked her car near the front door, locked the car doors and entered the business to pick up her child. While inside, another vehicle drove up and a male passenger exited that vehicle. The suspect broke the victims window with an unknown object. The suspect then took the victims purse that was left sitting in plain view on the victim's front seat.

     There was a video of the incident from security cameras and Sachse police are currently following up on leads.

          Sachse and surrounding cities have had numerous crimes of this type recently, the majority of which have been at daycares. The suspects in these crimes know that parents are in a hurry dropping off their children and all too often leave their cars running and or valuables inside. These thieves commit these crimes and are gone in literally just a few seconds.

     This is just a reminder to always either hide your valuable from plain view or take them with you, even if you are only going to be away for just a minute.
