Don't be alarmed when you hear a siren today (April 13) at 1 p.m. In an effort to promote severe weather safety preparedness, Oakland County will be conducting a special test of the Outdoor Warning System. The purpose of this test is to raise the awareness level of citizens and offer schools and businesses an opportunity to test their internal disaster plans during normal business hours.
