Reference: Breaking and Entering/ Guns Stolen

The Norton Shores Police Department is investigating a Breaking and Entering at the Shoreline Shooters at 3129 Fairfield. Officers responded to an alarm at the business at 3:48 am to find the building secure. Officers again were called from the owner of the business at 7:20 am who was reporting a break in where guns were taken. The alarm was checked and there was an alarm activation at 4:33 am in which the owner was not aware of. The police were not notified of the second alarm and therefore did not respond to the business at that time. The suspects took five long guns, three pistols, and ammunition. Investigators are following up on leads at this time.

The Norton Shores Police also took an attempt break in at the same business earlier in the week on 04/08/2016 in which two suspects were arrested. Both suspects were charged with Attempted Burglary and one is still lodged in the Muskegon County jail and the other in the Muskegon County youth home.

Anyone with information to assist in the investigation is asked to contact Norton Shores Police Department at 231-733-2691 or Silent Observer at 231-72-CRIME.
