Prescription Drug Take Back Day
On Saturday, April 30th, from 10:00am through 2:00pm, staff from the Ripon Police Department will be partnering with the Drug Enforcement Agency in the 11th National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
The event is free, and allows community members to drive up to a drop off location and anonymously deposit unused, unwanted, and expired prescriptions for safe disposal; keeping prescription pills out of our landfills and waterways. Students from the University of the Pacific, School of Pharmacy will also be on hand to collect medical sharps.
The event will take place in the front parking lot of the Ripon Police Department (259 N. Wilma Ave.) on Saturday, April 30th, from 10:00am through 2:00pm.
