This morning, an OSBI agent arrested a Craig County jail employee for rape in the second degree and rape by instrumentation. April 5, 2016, the Craig County Sheriff’s Office requested OSBI investigate an allegation Shea Dillon Barr (9/30/1991) had sexual contact with a female inmate. The OSBI agent and an investigator with the sheriff's office interviewed the alleged victim. The investigators then interviewed Barr who admitted to having sexual intercourse with the jail inmate. This morning at the Craig County Sheriff’s Office, the OSBI agent arrested Barr. Barr was booked into the Craig County jail. Even though the sexual contact was consensual between adults, the fact Barr had legal custody over the inmate made the contact illegal. Barr had worked as a jail employee since August 2015.
