On April 5, 2016, at approximately 3:00 A.M., the Veteran of Foreign Wars (VFW), located at 1405 E. Linwood Avenue was burglarized. Turlock Police Officers reviewed the VFW’s video surveillance, and it was determined two suspects had broken into the business. On April 6, 2016, detectives from the Turlock Police Department took over this investigation and have identified one of the two suspects involved.

The first suspect is Ricky Dean Beets, Jr, a 32 year old male. Beets is currently wanted by the Turlock Police Department for burglary and possession of stolen property. Turlock Police Department was able to identify Beets as the suspect from leads which were developed from the video surveillance. The second suspect in the video still needs to be identified. A photograph of that second suspect is attached.

The Turlock Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance on the whereabouts of Beets. If Beets is located, do not approach but contact our dispatch center at (209) 668-1200 for immediate assistance. In case of an emergency please call 9-1-1.
