Investigators from the Santee Sheriff's Station want your help in identifying and locating a man wanted on suspicion of burglary and identity theft.
Take a good look at these surveillance photos showing the suspect and his getaway vehicle.
On February 21st just before 6:00 p.m., a man entered the Honey Donuts Shop located in the 10000 block of Woodside Avenue in Santee. He then used someone else’s credit card, without their permission, to purchase lottery tickets.
The suspect later entered a Vons store located in the 9600 block of Mission Gorge Road in Santee to redeem the lottery tickets he had fraudulently purchased. He was with a three to five year old girl.
The suspect is described as a white male between 50 and 60 years of age. He is approximately 5’10”-6’1” and weighs approximately 280 pounds. He has gray hair, a beard and was wearing glasses. The suspect was wearing a dark baseball hat backwards, a blue t-shirt and dark pants. He appears to have dark tattoos on his left arm.
Witnesses describe the getaway vehicle as possibly a dark colored 2011 to 2014 Hyundai Sonata sedan.
Anyone with information on this case should call the Crime Stoppers anonymous tip line at (888) 580-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to an arrest in this case.
