Possession of Forged Instrument Arrest
(Etowah County, Alabama) An Altoona man has been arrested in connection to possession of a forged check, according to Sheriff Todd Entrekin.
“Timothy DeWayne Walls, 38, of Altoona, is charged with one count of third degree possession of a forged instrument, which is a felony,” Lieutenant Robin Grant said.
Walls allegedly cashed a forged check in the amount $315.77 at a gas station located in Attalla. The forged instrument was written on a non-existing account. He also used a non-valid driver’s license, with a fictitious name, while cashing the bad check.
Walls was booked into the Etowah County Detention Center and later released on $1,500 bond.
