Lockport won and now it's time to celebrate!! 
It’s official – Lockport wins the Battle of the Burbs on the Eric & Kathy show (WTMX)!!! A total of 153,000 votes were cast over this past week with Lockport being declared the winner, defeating Oak Forest with 63% of the vote. Now, it’s time to celebrate! Come out to City Hall this Wednesday, April 6th, to bask in the glory of victory when Melissa from WTMX presents the trophy to Mayor Streit and the Lockport community. Please arrive at 8:20 AM to help us cheer loud and proud for Lockport! After the presentation, follow Mayor Streit to Embers where the celebration will continue with a FREE Battle of the Burbs breakfast buffet. Mayor Steven Streit thanks everyone who took the time to vote over these past few weeks. If it were not for you, we would not be the Champions!
