Update to Day St Homicide investigation.
On Saturday April 2nd, 2016 at approximately 7:09pm, Officers from the Green Bay Police Department responded to 1138 Day St. in the City of Green Bay for a report of possible gun shots. Upon arrival, Officers quickly determined that several shots had been fired and located a single male victim inside the residence. The 25 year old victim, Ricardo (NMI) Gomez H/M DOB: 08/06/1990, was transported to a local hospital for treatment, where he later succumbed to his injuries and passed away. There is information that the victim may have been an innocent bystander in this crime.
Several people have been identified as possibly being involved and Detectives from the Green Bay Police Department are currently working on any leads, that they may have, in reference to this incident. A temporary felony warrant has been issued for Richard Michael Arrington B/M DOB: 11/26/1995, for First Degree Intentional Homicide. Arrington is considered to be ARMED AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. If you know or see this individual or know his whereabouts, do not approach him. Contact a local law enforcement agency or the Green Bay Police Department.

This is an isolated incident and is not a random act of violence. This continues to be an on-going investigation and no further details will be released at this time.
