INCIDENT: Attempted Strong Arm Robbery

LOCATION: Smoke Shop - 14516 Seventh Street, Victorville

SUSPECTS: #1: Black male approximately 17 – 20 years of age, height 5’9”, 130 lbs., light skin, green eyes with a tattoo on his neck and a line on the right side of his face – last seen wearing a white t-shirt w/red sleeves

#2 Black male approximately 17 – 20 years of age, height 5’2”, 130 lbs, dark skin – last seen wearing brown pants and a gray hoodie with the words USMC on it

SUMMARY:
On March 25, 2016, at approximately 3:00 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the report of a robbery that had occurred at the Smoke Shop located at 14516 Seventh Street in Victorville. Upon arrival, deputies were informed that two black males entered the location, suspect #1 jumped over the counter and punched the victim in the face and pulled her hair repeatedly, causing her to fall to the floor. Suspect #1 attempted to steal the cash register but was stopped by a concerned citizen attempting to help the victim. After a brief struggle, both suspects exited the store and fled the location on foot running towards the bust stop located on Lorene Drive near Costco. Deputies conducted a search of the area however, the suspect remain outstanding.

Deputies were informed that the suspects may possibly frequent the store front near the Smoke Shop and the Dollar General Store. The suspects were also seen inside the Dollar Store on March 24th, attempting to steal items from the store.
