80-year-old Gerard A.Kelly, who has been missing from his Encinitas home since mid-February, has been found safe at an Oceanside hospital.
Earlier today (March 24th), a Sheriff's Detective resumed making calls to local hospitals to check for any sign of Kelly. Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside confirmed to the detective they had a patient matching Kelly's description.
Tri-City Medical Center says Kelly was admitted on February 15th under a different name. He is being treated for an undisclosed medical condition.
The Sheriff's Department thanks the public for their cooperation and assistance with this case.

80-year-old Gerard A. Kelly was last seen by his neighbors sometime in mid-February 2016.
Deputies from the North Coastal Sheriff's Station have visited Kelly's home three times in March, but he has not returned home. Kelly's car is still parked in his garage. He does not have any family in San Diego County.
Kelly is described as a White male, standing 5'6" tall, weighing 160 pounds with blue eyes and gray hair.
