Victorville deputies investigating a shooting and asking for information after woman injured by gunfire.

SUMMARY:
On March 16, 2016 at 11:43 p.m., Deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the 16700 block of C Street for a report of shots fired. When deputies arrived they found a 25 year old Victorville woman suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. Further investigation determined that several shots had been fired at the location however, it appears there are no other gunshot victims.
The victim was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
