Suspect arrested in the recent rash of robberies

On 3-15-16 Officers of the Green Bay Police Department received a tip on a potential suspect in the rash of robberies that have occurred in the Green Bay Area. Officer Sean Hamill and Lt. Tom Buchman investigated the lead which led them to a residence in the 1400 BLK of N. Baird St.

In the investigation, officers and investigators later stopped a silver mini-van and took a suspect into custody. The suspect is Kevin E Gillispie, a 52 year old male that was originally from the Milwaukee area but recently came to Green Bay. Investigators are now reviewing all the recent robberies to determine Mr. Gillispie’s involvement. Robbery charges are being referred on Mr. Gillispie to the district attorney office.

There will be a press conference at 10:30 AM at the police department. A PIO will be present to provide comment. Please direct all media inquiries to this date and time. If any of the media would like some video photoage of the cars used in the robbery, please come to the police department at 10:15 AM.
