Meth Lab Bust in Howard Township




The Cass County Drug Enforcement Team announces that on March 9, 2016 detectives executed a search warrant in the 3100 block of Detroit Rd in Howard Township on suspicion that the manufacture of methamphetamine was occurring there. Upon searching the residence detectives located several items used in the manufacture of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. Outside the residence, detectives located three old one pot methamphetamine labs as well as other ingredients for the manufacture of methamphetamine. The Michigan Department of Human Services was called to the scene regarding a child that was present in the home. The suspect, a 30 year old female, was arrested on charges of manufacture of methamphetamine, manufacture of hazardous waste, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine and maintaining a drug house. The suspect’s name is being with held pending arraignment. The investigation is still ongoing at this time.
