Investigation Into New Albany Massage Parlor Results in Prostitution Arrests
New Albany-Today, a year-long investigation into a New Albany, Indiana Massage Parlor resulted in the arrest of two southern Indiana women on prostitution charges.
The investigation into the Evergreen Spa, located at 1222 State Street, New Albany, Indiana began in March 2015 when Indiana State Police Detectives received information that prostitution was taking place at the business. During the course of the investigation by Detective Tim Denby, detectives went undercover into the business where they were allegedly offered sexual favors in exchange for extra payment.
At the conclusion of the investigation, the case was filed with the Floyd County Prosecutor’s Office which led to arrest warrants being issued for two employees of the business. Today, Mimi Kim Grech, age 61, Clarksville, Indiana was arrested on two counts of prostitution and Yang Sun Hall, age 61, New Albany, Indiana was arrested on one count of prostitution.
Both women were transported to the Floyd County Jail where they will both be given a bond and an initial court appearance.
