Search warrant yields assault weapons and narcotics 
On February 3rd, 2016, members of the Santa Clara County Special Enforcement Team (SCCSET) served a narcotic search warrant at the home of Siawash Ghasseminezhad (34 y/o), located on Hillwood Lane in Morgan Hill. During the search, Officer's located eleven firearms, including (3) AK-47 type assault rifles, (1) SKS rifle, (1) loaded handgun, (1) semi-automatic shotgun as well as ammunition and numerous illegal high capacity magazines. The search also revealed methamphetamine, heroin, Xanax, Oxycontin, marijuana, steroids and multiple items of narcotic sales and packaging materials. Ghasseminezhad was later arrested in his vehicle where a loaded handgun was located concealed within the center console.
Ghasseminezhad was arrested for a total of sixteen felony charges including possession of unauthorized assault weapons and possession of narcotics for sale. Ghasseminezhad was later transported to the Santa Clara County Main Jail and booked into their custody.
