Are your children safe?

The Marietta Police Department is dedicated to protecting its citizens in every way possible. While our focus is on finding ways to fight and prevent crime, we are also dedicated to find ways to educate and protect our youth.  To that end, MPD is involved in protecting and educating children through a program called Radkids. Radkids is a personal empowerment safety education program which includes a 10 hour curriculum for children ages 8 to 12. Topics covered include: bully prevention, internet, home, school, vehicle, and outdoor safety, as well as predator tricks and physical resistance strategies against child abduction.  MPD currently has 5 certified Radkids instructors dedicated to helping teaching your children to be safe.

MPD has a class currently scheduled for May.  Openings are still available for these FREE classes so reserve your spot now.  Please register your own kids or refer us to parents with kid’s ages 8 to 12. The dates for the May classes are:

Every Tuesday May 10th - June 7th (5 consecutive Tuesdays), from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the gym of West Side Elementary (344 Polk St. Marietta, GA)

Parents interested in registering their children should visit https://radkids.eventbrite.com.
