Power outage affecting areas of Signal Hill and Long Beach. SCE is working on restoring power. 
Today at approximately 9:13 am there was a wide spread power outage caused by equipment failure and its affecting approximately 1300 SCE customers.
The power outage is affecting Signal Hill and Long Beach residents. Signal Hill residents suffering power outage are located south of Willow St, between Walnut Ave and Redondo Ave.
Edison is working on restoring power to customers and the power outage is expected to be resolved today in the late evening hours.
Residents affected by the power outage are encourage to download the Southern California Edison "MY SCE" Android/Apple app to get updated information.
