Advisory

The "Warning" Level Travel Advisory Emergency Declaration will be terminated for Marshall Co. at 2:00pm (EST).

The Marshall County Board of Commissioners has determined that weather and road conditions have improved enough to lift the “Warning Level” Travel Advisory emergency declaration that has been in place since 3:30am today. The “Warning Level” travel advisory emergency declaration will no longer be in effect beginning at 2:00pm (EST) today (2/25/2016).
A "Watch" Level Travel Advisory will remain in place. A "Watch" Level Travel Advisory is the lowest level of the local advisory system and means that routine travel or activities may be restricted in areas because of a hazardous situation, and individuals should use caution or avoid those areas.
Roads remain wet and slick in spots.
The Commissioners would like to remind everyone to follow good safety practices when driving in the winter by always wearing your seat belt, reducing your speed, increase your following distance and avoiding distractions like texting or talking on a cell phone
