Oakland, CA – On February 11, 2016, the Oakland Police Department arrested Hector Gonzalez in San Leandro, CA. Gonzalez is one of two suspects responsible for the murder of Quentin Robinson, 29, of Hayward.
On February 14, the second suspect, Michael Gonzalez-Navarro, was medically cleared from a local hospital, where he had been recovering from injuries sustained at the scene of the murder, and placed under arrest for the murder of Robinson.
On February 16, the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office charged both Gonzalez and Gonzalez-Navarro with murder.
BACKGROUND – On February 8, 2016 at 5:24 PM, Oakland police officers responded to the 10100 block of Foothill Boulevard on a report of gunshots. Officers located a crime scene, but no victim. A short time after, Quentin Robinson arrived at a local hospital suffering from a gunshot wound, and was later pronounced deceased at the hospital.
