Full Notification

The following crimes were reported in Valencia last week 02/01/16 - 02/07/16:

Assault with a deadly weapon - 27000 block of Magic Mountain Parkway. An unknown female suspect ordered lunch and was unsatisfied with her food. The suspect demanded a refund, but was offered a different menu choice instead. The suspect became very angry, grabbed a glass jar and threw it at the worker (victim). The glass jar hit the victim's left hip and shattered on her body. The suspect fled the location prior to the deputies’ arrival.  

Grand theft -27400 block of Cherry Creek Dr.  An unknown suspect stole two packages from the front porch of the victim’s residence.

Robbery -23500 block of Wiley Canyon Road.  A male adult was arrested from the location for attacking an elderly female and stealing medicine from her residence. The suspect was also charged with elder abuse and bringing narcotics into a jail facility. 

Commercial burglary -27600 block of Newhall Ranch Road.  An unknown suspect forced entry into the location by drilling out a hole in the lock which secured the rear door to the location.  Once inside the location, the suspect walked away with boxes which contained merchandise from the store. 

Burglary -27600 block of Newhall Ranch Road.  An unknown suspect shattered the front window to the business and stole the cashbox from the store. Nothing else inside the location was missing. 

Vehicle burglary-27900 block of Kelly Johnson Parkway.  An unknown suspect made entry into the victim’s vehicle by using a tool (unknown).

Vehicle theft - 23500 block of Lyons Avenue.  An unknown suspect made entry into the victim’s vehicle and stole his stereo system from inside the vehicle. No signs of forced entry were seen on the vehicle.
