The Oakland Police Department wants to alert the West Oakland community and Berkeley community (Area of 1300 Block of McGee Avenue) that the handgun associated with the erratic driver incident from yesterday morning (02/10/16) has not been located at this time in the investigation. We want to alert and advise everyone, that if you find what you suspect to be a firearm, whether in public or private property (yards, bushes, roof, etc.), DO NOT TOUCH IT. Please safeguard the location, call 911, and remain on scene until the police arrive.
