#017 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

At 11:30 a.m., Officer Ramsey conducted a traffic stop at Brown Rd at Research Ave.  The 40 year old adult male was searched per the terms of his probation and cited for being in possession of drug paraphernalia.

#022 Armed Robbery

Officer L. Kennedy investigated an armed robbery at a grocery store located in the 4300 block of Thornton Ave. Two masked suspects entered the store, brandished a handgun at the clerk and demanded money.  One suspect ran behind the counter and pistol whipped the clerk twice.  There was no loss reported. The victim was treated at a local hospital for injuries.

The suspects were described as:

Suspect # 1 - a black male, 5’10”, wearing a white bandana covering his face, a black hoodie and a black vest.

Suspect #2 - a black male, 5’10”, heavy set, wearing a black hoodie, black pants, white shoes and armed with a black handgun.

#028 Suspicious Circumstances

At 2:09 p.m., a victim reported a suspicious circumstance to dispatch.  Officers met with the victim and learned that he was driving a box truck on Milmont Drive at approximately 1:45 p.m., when he heard something hit his work vehicle. He continued back to his work and after examining the vehicle, discovered a cross bow arrow sticking out of the truck. No suspects or witnesses to this event.

#032 Brandishing a Knife

At 2:53 p.m., officers responded to a dispute between neighbors on Acacia Way.  During the dispute, a 46 year old adult female brandished a knife.  Officers arrested the female for exhibiting a deadly weapon.    

#003 DUI Arrest

At 1:24 a.m., Sergeant Dodson conducted a vehicle stop near Stevenson and Albany Co.  Sgt. Dodson made contact with the driver and noticed symptoms consistent with the driver being intoxicated.   After a field sobriety test was administered, the 37 year old adult male driver was arrested for DUI.

#004 Commercial Burglary

At 4:01 a.m., officers responded to an alarm sounding in the 47000 block of Warm Springs Blvd.  Upon arrival, officers discovered a window smash burglary.  There was no loss reported at the time of the initial report.  Case under investigation by Officer T. Roberts.
