San Angelo Police are warning the public about a potential threat to public safety due to a large gas leak near the HEB Grocery store, 3301 Sherwood Way.
East and westbound traffic will be closed at Arden Road and Sherwood Way to Oxford Drive and Sherwood Way. Traffic will be diverted north and south at both intersections and side streets.
The repair is expected to take several hours and utility officials and first responders would like the public to avoid traveling in the area until further notice. Residential evacuation has NOT been ordered at this time.
