IRS scam phone calls 
People impersonating the IRS are calling residents stating they are going to send officers to their residence. This is a SCAM. The IRS will not call you. If you talk to them, tell them the police have been contacted. If a message has been left, do NOT call them back and as always, never give out your personal information to anyone over the phone. Law Enforcement is aware of this scam as is the Wood County Dispatch Center. Please be vigilant with your information and if you have questions regarding this, there is a link you can check out:
